Koozies The Evolution

In the beginning there were foam koozies.
Very hard to hold in your hand because they are so thick. They leak condensation all over you through the hole in the bottom. They also do not release your empty can very well. They are usually printed 1 color only and that is boring! Not a bad koozie for the beginning, but then the evolution of the koozie took place.

Now today we have many koozies made out of many materials. "Scuba koozies" Careful of this one, these imposters are open celled foam not neoprene (wetsuit material) although the Scuba word does imply to the user that they have insulating value. In reality they are cheap imitations of Neoprene Koozies and have very little insulating ability.

Of course we have hand made koozies. Made of everything from Sheepskin, Leather, Wool, Plastic, and Stainless Steel. Some of these do insulate and some are just handmade for fun beverage holders. Many people like to decorate coozies with feathers and sequins. Some like to embroider coozies. And some like to add bling to their koozie.

Now Neoprene Koozies dominate the koozie world! They have

great insulating properties, they can be personalized with multi colored images, photos, text ,you name it. They absorb condensation so it stays in the koozie, not on the table or in your hand. Neoprene keeps your beverage cold and your hands dry.

The Beer Koozie, is designed to fit a bottle or can, keeps your beverage of choice chilled to perfection. Since its development in the 1980s, the beer coozie has come in every color and style you can imagine. From engraved koozies to sports team coozies and everything in between, it's easy to find the perfect koozie to suit any individual.

Beer koozies may not move mountains, they do make a much-needed drink all the more enjoyable. And, we always admire uncomplicated inventions that improve the quality of life.
